With the improvement of residents'living standards,leisure behaviors have become an important part of daily life.However,overwork is becoming more and more serious in China,squeezing residents'leisure time and lowering their quality of life.Based on mobile data,this paper measures the indicators of online and offline leisure activities of Shanghai residents,and discusses how overwork affects leisure behaviors form the perspective of time constraints.The results inidicate that overwork has an inhibitory effect on offline leisure behaviors.Compared with people working normal hours,people working overtime have lower participation rates and shorter participation time spent on offline leisure activities.On the contrary,they spend more time on entertainment applications,especially activities with high time fragmentation.Based on this,the paper puts forward suggestions for building cities with better quality of life.
