Influencing Factors and Spatial Effects Daily of Cross-City Daily Population Mobility in the Nanjing Metropolitan Area
Daily mobility of cross-city population has gradually become an important factor in measuring the integration level of metropolitan area.It is not only affected by the local socioeconomic environment, but also affected by the spatial effect of the neighboring areas. However, currently there are relatively few discussions on its influencing factors and spatial effects. Therefore, this article conducts research on its influencing factors and spatial effects. It is found that:(1)The mobility scale and betweenness centrality form spatial patterns characterized by"spreading outward with Nanjing as the core"and"distributing along the major transport corridors with boundary regions as the core"respectively.(2)It exhibits spatial dependence, with the mobility scale mainly reflected in the random impact of the peripheral regions on the spatial units, and the betweenness centrality mainly reflected in the intermediary role of the peripheral regions to enhance the spatial spillover effect on the region.(3)Factors influencing its spatial patterns are complex, with the mobility scale influenced by various types of factors such as public service facilities, transportation infrastructure, and socioeconomic attributes while betweenness centrality primarily associated with public service facilities and transportation infrastructure. This article further enriches the research of daily mobility of population by supplementing its formation mechanism from the dimension of spatial effect on one hand and providing a basis for the construction of a system guiding the flow of cross-regional population on the other hand.
