In the discourse surrounding the renewal of China's urban historical spaces,significant challenges such as spatial homogeneity,a singular industrial focus,and the displacement of indigenous populations underscore the need for a fresh theoretical and methodological approach.This paper addresses these issues by elucidating the genesis and applicative significance of scene theory,systematically delineating contradictions within urban historical space renewal and establishing a coherent framework using scene theory.The analysis extends to the connotation of intervention across cultural space,economic space,and social space,advocating a strategy encapsulated by"cultural gene promoting construction of venues","buzzer effect fostering consumer interaction","value identification fortifying multi-faceted governance"and"virtual reality integration within historical temporal and spatial dimensions".These interventions aim to steer urban historical space reconstruction.The overarching objective is to broaden the research panorama within the theoretical domain of urban historical space and proffer scientifically informed guidelines for the practical implementation of urban renewal initiatives in our nation.
