Research on Price Differentiation Characteristics and Mechanisms of Specialty Homestay Inn in Megacities:A Case Study of the Quadrangle Dwellings Homestay Inn in Beijing
Since the decline of the COVID-19 pandemic,the tourism industry has experienced a rebound,providing significant momentum for economic recovery.The rapid development of the homestay industry in response to sudden supply and demand changes,however,has led to issues such as price distortion and market inefficiency.This article uses Beijing's quadrangle dwellings as a case study,employing big data and quantitative analysis methods to examine the price differentiation characteristics and mechanisms of unique homestays in megacities.The study reveals that prices are influenced by factors such as architectural features,location and transportation,and nearby facilities,with varying impacts across different regions and types of homestays.Finally,the article offers policy recommendations from the perspectives of urban management,planning support,and homestay industry development,which hold significant importance for promoting urban renewal,rural revitalization,and economic growth.
