Research on the Coordinated Development of Urban Shrinkage and Renewal Based on Coupling Model:A Case Study of Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle
There is a coupling relationship between urban shrinkage and urban renewal,and cities influence each other,making the coordinated development of urban shrinkage and renewal an integral part of regional coordinated development.This article first uses the definition of natural cities,along with NPP-VIIRS night light data and LandScan population data,to analyze the shrinkage of 44 urban nodes within the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle.By constructing a comprehensive evaluation index system,it enhances the coupling coordination model for urban shrinkage and renewal.The study examines the dynamic coupling of typical nodes and assesses whether urban renewal effectively addresses urban shrinkage based on coupling coordination types,thereby forecasting development priorities for cities with varying degrees of shrinkage to support regional coordinated development.
