The Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee once again emphasized the importance and necessity of promoting Chinese modernization,and pointed out the direction for further promoting the comprehensive revitalization of rural areas.Jiangsu,as the hometown of fish and rice and a large agricultural province,should"take the lead and demonstrate"in the new practice of promoting the comprehensive revitalization of rural areas in Jiangsu on the new journey.Based on the innovative practice of the construction project of characteristic rural villages in Jiangsu province,combined with the advanced theoretical results of Chinese modernization and rural revitalization,and on the basis of the new requirements of rural construction in Jiangsu province under the Chinese modernization,this paper puts forward the theoretical framework of multiple functions and values of characteristic rural villages in Jiangsu province.Taking Zhouchong group of Huashu village in Nanjing city as an example,this paper demonstrates the multiple functions and values of characteristic idleness villages in Jiangsu province from five aspects of economy,ecology,society,culture and governance,and provides scientific theoretical guidance and effective practical reference for rural revitalization in our country.
