Visual image halo eliminating algorithm based on improved principle of dark channel
Performing halo elimination operations near halo areas may reduce the contrast, sharpness, and details of the image. Therefore,it is necessary to develop effective methods to restore and enhance the image details after halo elimination,so as to ensure the overall improvement of image quality. To this end,a visual image halo elimination algorithm based on the improved principle of dark channel is designed. An atmospheric scattering model is established to deeply analyze the conditions of the halo generation. The transmittance in the imaging environment is calculated based on the pixel intensity values in the image.A lighting condition research model is established based on the scattering coefficient of atmospheric illumination.Under the conditions of high pixel color channel,a definition of the bright channel of the halo free image is constructed based on the parts of high brightness and strong reflection of the image, the features of the bright channel of the image are clustered, and the transmittance is refined with a fast bilateral filter. So far,an imaging model of the halo image is established. In the process of improving the principle of dark channel, the halo elimination processing of visual images is completed by adjusting multiple calculation parameters, including changing the weight function and setting recovery instructions for halo elimination. After experimental analysis,it can be proven that the proposed method has good halo elimination performance and has a good effect on halo elimination.
