objective to the application of CT and MRI imaging technology to the condition of elderly patients with multiple cerebral infarction disease diagnosis comparing the clinical value of research. Methods in our hospital 94 cases with elderly patients with multiple cerebral infarction disease, first using CT imaging technology to diagnose the illness (defined as control group), using MRI imaging technology to its diagnosis (de-fined as observation group). Lesion detection rate of two groups of different time and different parts of the detection rate of infarction detection rate, different volume infarction lesions were compared, and so on and so forth. Results observation group within 24 hours, pathogenesis within 72 hours, 72 hours infarction lesion detection rate is significantly higher than the control group;Next to the temporal lobe, brain room, position of cerebellar infarction lesions was much higher than that of control group, other parts of the basic same infarcts detection rate;Less than 2 mm infarcts was much higher than that of control group, more than 2 mm infarcts was basically the same. Conclusion in elderly multiple cerebral in-farction disease diagnosis, MRI technology advantage more than CT technology.
