The determination of trace methanol and acetonitrile in industrial waste water was carried out by gas chromatography, using split-flow mode injection,DB-WAX capillary column in the column box under the condition of programmed temperature rise to separate the components of industrial waste water, and then into the combustion of hydrogen flame ionization detector for determination, and the quantification of external standard method.Through a large number of experimental tests, the recoveries of methanol ranged from 96.77%to 97.78%with the lowest detection limit of 1 mg/kg,and the recoveries of acetonitrile ranged from 101.92%to 102.54%with the lowest detection limit of 1 mg/kg,which demonstrated the good reproducibility and accuracy of the method, convenient operation and fast analysis speed.
