Establishment of India's Digital Public Infrastructure in the Global South
In recent years,India has made progress in developing Digital Public Infrastructure(DPI),constructing a comprehensive framework encompassing digital identity,mobile payments,and cloud storage of data.India is committed to expanding its unique digital infrastructure program to the Global South and to promoting India-specific digital infrastructure initiatives on an international scale.India aims to enhance international influence in the digital field,seek to play a leading role in the digital development of the Global South,deepen US-India cooperation and expand strategic manoeuvre space,and create favorable conditions for promoting changes in the international order in India's favor.Although India's initiatives have achieved initial results in improving the goodwill of the Global South towards India and strengthening its international influence in the digital field,it still faces multiple difficulties such as poor quality,one-sided emphasis on its own interests,inconsistency between words and deeds,and contradictions between India and the United States.These constraints prevent India from further deepening its relationship with the Global South in the digital sphere.
