India-Philippines Defense Diplomacy from the Perspective of"Indo-Pacific"
With the proposal and implementation of the"Indo-Pacific Strategy,"the intersection of India and Philippines at sea is becoming larger and larger In recent years,the defense diplomacy between India and Philippines has been deepening,mainly manifested in strategic alignment of defense policies,and maritime security has become a key area of cooperation.Significant breakthroughs have been made in defense industry cooperation.The defense diplomacy of the Philippines is not only a product of the integration of the"Act East Policy"and the"Atmanirbhar Bharat,"but also carries practical considerations for developing maritime security cooperation and jointly preventing China.In the future,the defense diplomacy of the Philippines will continue to deepen,with a focus on emerging non-traditional security cooperation such as cybersecurity,and will utilize multilateral mechanisms such as QUAD to carry out defense cooperation.At the same time,closer defense and security cooperation between India and the Philippines will also have a certain impact on the South China Sea issue,China's maritime channel security,and the geopolitical situation.
