Since the beginning of the 21st century,Türkiye's development assistance to Africa has expanded rapidly.Its assistance recipients and major areas have been deliberately selected.The main purpose of Türkiye's expansion of development assistance to Africa is to shape the image of a regional country with global influence,obtain energy and open up markets,expand trade,play a leading role in African Islamic countries,and cope with competition from Western countries and other emerging countries in Africa.Türkiye's development assistance to Africa has achieved many results,but the realization of strategic goals is constrained.
