Progress and Prospects of Latin America's Green Economy Transition
The global economy is experiencing a trend of green transition when Latin American countries are facing development pressures brought about by climate change and environmental issues.Therefore,Latin American countries have formulated and implemented green development plans that are suitable for their national conditions and are pushing forward the green transition in the three major areas of energy,manufacturing,and infrastructure.The advocacy of Latin American countries to promote green transition coincides with China's green development initiatives.Both China and Latin America can strengthen green development cooperation in the areas of green governance,investment and financing,scientific and technological innovation,and social security,which are expected to provide support for Latin American countries to accelerate their green transition.
