Application of optical coherence tomography in membrane fouling research
The imaging principle and monitoring advantages of optical coherence tomography(OCT)are briefly described.OCT can quickly generate high-resolution two-dimensional and three-dimensional images for the foulants layer,therefore it is widely applied in characterizing the fouling formation process of foulants layer,quantitatively analyzing foulants layer,characterizing membrane's inner fouling and wetting,combining depth learning model with membrane fouling prediction,and promoting to understand the formation process and mechanism of membrane fouling.Main limitations of OCT in membrane fouling investigation are concluded,and the research on the application of OCT in membrane fouling investigation is predicted.
