The types of photocatalysts used for lignin depolymerization in recent years are reviewed,the mechanism and strategy of lignin photocatalytic depolymerization are analyzed,and the depolymerization methods coupled with various technologies are introduced.The challenges and development directions in the research field of lignin photocatalytic depolymerization are prospected.
