The middle distillate of gasoline after desulfurization in a certain company's S-Zorb unit contains high content of benzene and over 40%C6-C8 aromatic components. Therefore,a gasoline precise cutting idea is proposed to cut out the middle distillate to achieve the goal of reducing benzene content and increasing aromatics production.Three kinds of process schemes for gasoline precision cutting are simulated, analyzed and compared in the aspects of equipment investment, energy consumption and operation cost.Through optimization and comparison, the"fractionation tower with stripping tower"process scheme is determined as the optimal one, which has the advantages of low equipment investment, low energy consumption, simple process, and low operation cost.
