A company has built a new set of C1/C2 separation unit using the patented shallow cold oil absorption method for dry gas recovery technology licensed by Beijing Research Institute of Chemical Industry, which uses n-butane as the absorbent to absorb C2 fraction in the dry gas,and then uses heavy naphtha as the absorbent to recover C4 fractions entrained in the fuel gas to obtain ethane-rich gas, light hydrocarbon and crude hydrogen, which are sent to the ethylene unit, liquefied gas separation unit and PSA unit, respectively. The scale of the unit reaches 1.6 Mt/a,which can process all the dry gas of the refining unit in the 20 Mt/a refining and chemical integration project. The unit runs stably after start-up,and is calibrated after one year of operation. The results show that the recovery rate and purity of ethane reaches 92.7%and 93.7%,respectively.The product distributes well, and the comprehensive energy consumption meets the standard. It is verified that this technology is mature and reliable, and it is worthy of popularization and application.
