MA series absorbers developed by Sinopec Nanjing Research Institute of Chemical Industry Company Limited for low partial pressure carbon capture have been successfully operated on nearly 10 carbon capture units with a scale more than 10 000 t/a in China.This paper discusses in detail the operation of MA-2 absorbent in the 150 000 t/a carbon capture unit of Guoneng Jinjie Power Plant.Under the design air intake conditions,the effects of gas-liquid ratio,capture rate and other factors on regeneration energy consumption are investigated,and their optimal values are determined as 34 Nm3·m-3 and 95.2%,respectively,with the corresponding lowest regeneration energy consumption of 2.72 GJ/t-CO2.Under the optimal conditions,the influences of semi-rich liquid inter-stage cooling,rich liquid diversion and lean liquid MVR on regeneration energy consumption is gradually investigated,and better values are determined,that is,the minimum regeneration energy consumption of the unit is only 2.30 GJ/t-CO2 when the rich liquid diversion ratio is 5%,the inter-stage cooling temperature is 40℃,and MVR pressure difference is 50 kPa.In addition,the escape loss of MA-2 absorbent under different working conditions is in the range of 31-59 mg·Nm-3.
