Three primary controlled/precise free radical polymerization(CPR)technologies are analyzed in depth,including Reversible Addition-Fragmentation Chain Transfer(RAFT)Polymerization,Atom Transfer Radical Polymerization(ATRP),and Nitroxide-Mediated Polymerization(NMP).The fundamental concepts of these technologies are outlined,the strength and weakness of each technology are reviewed,and their application domains are listed.A summary and an outlook on controlled/precise polymerization technologies are presented.
