In order to enhance the conversion of glycerol and improve the selectivity towards glycerol carbonate,a highly crystalline ETS-10 zeolite is successfully synthesized under the optimized process conditions,and subsequently,a series of catalysts are obtained through loading a series of transition metals on ETS-10 zeolite via wet impregnation method.The catalytic performance of these catalysts is evaluated on the carbonylation reaction of glycerol.It is revealed that Zn/ETS-10 exhibits notable selectivity towards glycerol carbonate from CO2 and glycerol.Under the optimal reaction conditions and the application of Zn/ETS-10 catalysis,the conversion rate of glycerol reaches 34.55%and the selectivity of glycerol carbonate achieves 56.34%.Additionally,Zn/ETS-10 maintains high catalytic activity and remarkable stability after it has experienced 8 cycles of reaction.
