The latest research progress on bimetallic organic frameworks materials(Co/Ni-MOFs)and their derivatives as supercapacitor electrode materials is reviewed.According to the treatment classification,Co/Ni-MOFs materials can be divided into original Co/Ni-MOFs,and Co/Ni-MOFs derivative materials that include porous carbon materials, transition metal oxides, hydroxides, borates, sulfides, and phosphates. The synthesis methods and electrochemical properties of these materials are reviewed. The relationship between the morphology, structure and electrochemical properties of Co/Ni-MOF materials and their derivatives is discussed, and the contribution of different synthesis strategies to the enhancement of specific capacitance, cycling stability and rate performance are outlined. Finally, the challenges and opportunities of Co/Ni-MOFs for energy storage applications are summarized and outlined.
