From the perspective of the development of the chemical industry,this article elaborates on the development of new quality productivity in three sections.Firstly,the new quality productivity in the chemical industry is explained according to the background logic and connotation of putting forward"new quality productivity"concept,including new means of production,new workers,new services and new production relationship.Secondly,how the new quality productivity can be promoted in the chemical industry is described in three aspects such as the transformation and upgrading,digitization and intelligent upgrading,and low carbon sustainable development of the chemical industry.Finally,two unavoidable problems in promoting the development of new quality productivity in the chemical industry are demonstrated,one is that the research method must evolve,another is how to cultivate chemical talents needed for the development of new quality productivity.
