Synthesis of three-dimensional high-entropy alloys and their application in water electrolysis
The synthesis methods for three-dimensional high-entropy alloy(3D HEA)materials are reviewed, and the research progress on the application of 3D HEA in the field of electrocatalytic water splitting is summarized. This review focuses on the synthesis of 3D HEA materials via dealloying and wet chemical methods,as well as the breakthrough progress on the application of 3D HEA materials with porous structure,face-centered cubic structure, and mesoporous spheres in the electrocatalytic water splitting field. Finally,it is pointed out there is still a lack of systematic exploration in the controllable synthesis methods of 3D HEA and the mechanism of electrocatalytic water splitting by 3D HEA,and there is an urgent need to find simple and efficient macroscopic preparation methods for practical application.
