Photocatalytic properties and mechanism of a Sn-based dual ligand metal-organic framework
A novel Sn-based dual ligand metal-organic framework photocatalyst(Sn-PTA-MI)is prepared via solvothermal method by using terephthalic acid(PTA)and 2-methylimidazole(2-MI)as competing ligands. The morphology, structure and energy band of the prepared photocatalyst are characterized by means of XRD,SEM,FT-IR,DRS and electrochemical test.Taking Rhodamine B,a cationic dye,as targeting pollutant, the effects of different factors on the photocatalytic activity of the photocatalyst are investigated. Results show that the removal rate of Rhodamine B exceeds 99%after 40 min of photocatalysis, and the reaction is less affected by pH when the molar ratio of PTA and 2-MI is 2:3 in the catalyst and the mass concentration of catalyst is 1.50 g·L-1.Main active groups involved in the catalytic degradation reaction are·O2-,followed by h+.
