Objective To summarize the best evidence for non-pharmacological management of sleep disorders in lung cancer patients,providing practical basis for improving sleep disorders in lung cancer patients.Methods The literature on non-pharmacological interventions for sleep disorders in lung cancer patients was retrieved from the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence,Joanna Briggs Institute Evidence-Based Health Care Center Database,National Comprehensive Cancer Network,Medlive,China National Knowledge Infrastructure,WanFang Data and so on.The search period was from database establishment to November 25,2023.After evaluating the methodological quality of the included literature by two researchers,evidence was extracted and summarized.Results A total of 12 articles were included,including five guidelines and seven systematic reviews.Eighteen pieces of evidence on non-pharmacological management of sleep disorders in lung cancer patients were summarized from six aspects,including screening and evaluation of sleep disorders,cognitive behavioral therapy,physical therapy,traditional Chinese medicine treatment,music therapy,and exercise therapy.Conclusions Medical and nursing staff should regularly screen and evaluate the sleep disorders of lung cancer patients,and provide appropriate and feasible intervention measures based on the specific situation of lung cancer patients to improve their sleep quality while ensuring patient safety.
