Analysis of Numerical Simulation of Crushable Pipe Energy Absorbing Equipment Performance
Analyzes the performances of crushable pipe in AP series nuclear power plants.Since energy absorbing are mainly relied on plastic deformation,based on true stress-strain relationship of pipe material and the basic contact mechanics principle,establishes contact mechanics model which can endure flattening deformation for crushable pipe.Computes the crushable pipe mechanics responses for different boundary conditions.Calculates and compares the stiffness for elastic and plastic phase respectively which establish foundations for the crushable pipe performance and function experiments.
