使用波长选择型ROADM构筑IP网络的光损失特性

摘要
针对近年网络数据流量呈指数率增长,传统型的光分插复用器往往不能满足大容量波分复用网中在网络结构变化时要求架构保持快速平滑变化的情况.提出使用ROADM来构筑光环形网,并搭建了以ROADM为主要器件构筑的四个节点实验光网络,通过实验测量环形网不同链路的光损失,得到随光波长变化的光损失特性,确定环形网络链路设计的数据传递可靠性.
Abstract
Due to recent exponential increase of network traffic volume,classical Optical Add/Drop Multiplexers generally cannot satisfy the requirement of keeping the framework of large capacity Wavelength Division Multiplexing network rapid and smooth variation along with the changes of network structure.Proposes Reconfigurable Optical Add/Drop Multiplexers to be used for constructing a fiber ring network.Establishes a 4-node optical network,which uses ROADMs as its main components.By experiments,optical losses of different fiber links,which consists of the ring network,are measured.The result shows the loss variation against light wavelength,and confirms reliable data transferring through fiber link of the ring network.
