Resource allocation in cellular networks based on edge caching
The widespread application of Internet of Things(IoT)and the rapid development of communication technologies have led to the explosive growth of mobile data traffic, which has brought huge energy consumption to network operators. Therefore, improving energy efficiency is an important challenge in the 5G and 6G era.In this paper,we make resource allocation in cache-enabled cellular networks and the optimal solution can be obtained by modeling the problem as a mixed integer programming problem. The objective is to jointly optimize the base station transmit power and task transfer scheduling while satisfying the quality of service(QoS)requirements, and explore the impact of cache hit rate on the total energy consumption.Simulation results show that our proposed scheme performs well in terms of energy consumption and that increasing the cache hit rate has the effect of re-ducing the total energy consumption.
