Research and implementation of an online sharing application system for ground-based microwave radiometer data
Microwave radiometers,as a novel meteorological observation tool, can provide high spatial and temporal resolution vertical profiles of temperature, relative humidity, and water vapor density in the atmosphere. In order to further enhance the appli-cation capabilities of microwave radiometer data in weather forecasting and artificial weather modification,an online sharing and application system for microwave radiometer data was designed and implemented based on the meteorological big data cloud plat-form"TianQing·Sichuan"and the Meteorological Unified Service Interface(MUSIC).The system established a real-time collection, decoding analysis, processing, and sharing display application process for microwave radiometer data.It designed the overall archi-tecture of the system, proposed an improved rectangular grid contour generation method, and put forward a solution for producing image products based on a meteorological data visualization toolkit. The system utilized mature technologies such as SpringMVC and Hibernate to implement its functionalities. For the first time, the system provided real-time sharing and application services of microwave radiometer temperature, relative humidity, water vapor density profiles, and time series graphs of water vapor content and liquid water content to meteorological personnel in Sichuan province. The system,as a module of the Sichuan Meteorological Business Intranet platform, received positive feedback from meteorological business users. It strengthened the understanding of at-mospheric profiles, effectively improved the accuracy of forecasting and prediction services, and enhanced the monitoring and warn-ing capabilities for disastrous weather. The system has broad promotional value.
