MATLAB环境下基于三维L系统的树木形态模拟

分形L系统利用植物的自相似性对植物结构进行建模,在虚拟植物和景观设计等研究中有着重要应用.将多规则随机L系统引入三维植物建模中,针对常见的灌木、单轴乔木和合轴乔木,给出了L系统设计的要点,并在MATLAB环境下实现了具体的L系统建模案例.模拟结果表明所设计的三维L系统能较好地模拟不同类型植物的结构形态.
Simulation of tree morphology based on 3D L-system in MATLAB environment
The fractal L-system utilizes the self similarity of plants to model plant structures,and has important applications in research such as virtual plants and landscape design.Introducing the multi rule random L-system into 3D plant modeling,the key points of L-system design were given for common shrubs,uniaxial trees,and biaxial trees,and specific L-system modeling cases were implemented in MATLAB environment.The simulation results indicate that the designed three-dimensional L-system can ef-fectively simulate the structural morphology of different types of plants.
