Software quality evaluation research based on TOPSIS method and defect rate
The evaluation of software quality among different software programs has always been a difficult issue.Traditional software quality assessment methods involve expert evaluations and user feedback, which cannot objectively evaluate the quality of multiple software programs. In order to solve the problem that software quality evaluation cannot be quantified, the TOPSIS method is used to evaluate software quality and analyze it from eight dimensions, including functionality and performance efficiency Firstly, through relevant literature research and practical investigation, specific indicators for each dimension were determined and the indi-cators were normalized. Then, the TOPSIS method was used to compare different software, and the scores of each software in each dimension and the total score were obtained. Finally, through comparing the scores of different software, superior software and soft-ware in need of improvement were identified, and targeted improvement measures were proposed. This research method can effec-tively evaluate the quality of software and provide a reference for software procurement and competitive analysis.
