An improved AODV routing protocol for light networking
The requirement for low delay and high reliability is addressed by designing an enhanced routing algorithm based on the Ad Hoc On-Demand Distance Vector(AODV)routing protocol in the many-to-many-route communication mechanism of Bluetooth Mesh networking,specifically tailored for home light networking.This algorithm takes into consideration factors such as delay,hop count,and cascade packet reception rate(PRR)to assess link quality,and proposes a novel approach to evaluate link re-liability in order to identify optimal and sub-optimal routes.During route maintenance,the sub-optimal route serves as a backup for communication with the optimal route.Simulation results demonstrate that this proposed algorithm significantly enhances both rout-ing reliability and delay performance,leading to noticeable improvements in lamp network quality.
