Low-illumination image detail enhancement processing algorithm based on guided filtering technology
A new enhanced processing algorithm of low-illumination image detail based on guided filtering technique was de-signed in this study.Firstly, the low-illumination images were subjected to multiple frequency domain decomposition, dividing the images into different frequency ranges, and each frequency band was independently enhanced to avoid excessive smoothing and in-formation loss.Secondly, the multiorder enhanced image is transformed from RGB color space to HSV color space to process the brightness and color information, and the guided filter technology is used to enhance the transformed image to improve the informa-tion entropy and detail performance of the image. Finally, the image processed by guided filtering is modified by mapping to im-prove the perceptual quality and visual effect of the image. The test results show that compared with the traditional enhancement processing algorithm, the information entropy of the image can reach more than 6.88 after the application, indicating that the en-hancement processing effect of the algorithm is better and has more practical application value.
