Design and structure optimization of an automatic tobacco packaging machine
Aiming at the problems of large volume of tobacco leaves,low degree of automation,and complicated process in the tobacco packaging process,an automatic tobacco packing machine was designed,and the tobacco leaf pressing plate,which is most frequently damaged,was simulated.Based on the SolidWorks 3D modeling software,the three major structures of the packaging machine were drawn,the relevant calculation was made on the hydraulic system,and the schematic diagram of the hydraulic system was designed.The response surface optimization module of ANSYS Workbench was used to optimize the structure of the tobacco leaf pressing plate.The maximum equivalent stress was reduced from 99.381 MPa to 82.338 MPa,with a reduction rate of 17.15%,and the maximum deformation was reduced from0.1230 mm to0.1132 mm,with a reduc-tion rate of 7.9%.
