Effect of aging temperature on microstructure and mechanical properties of 17-4PH steel
In this paper, the effect of different heat treatment processes on the microstructure and mechanical properties of 17-4PH martensitic stainless steel is studied by optical microscope(OM),scanning electron microscope(SEM)and universal testing machine. The results show that the precipitated phase in the matrix is sensitive to the change of aging temperature af-ter heat treatment, and the size increases with the aging temperature.Compared with the original sample, the hardness and tensile strength of the samples treated by solution and aging are significantly improved, while the plasticity is not obviously changed.Furthermore, the sample after solution treatment at 1040℃and aging at 470℃has the best comprehensive me-chanical properties.
