The form of the back angle has a significant impact on the cutting force,stress,temperature,etc.of the drill.A three-dimensional model of the entire cutting process of the drill was established,and thermal coupling simulation was car-ried out to analyze the Mises stress,cutting force,and temperature changes of the drill with different back angle forms under dry cutting state,and to identify the advantages and disadvantages of the two.A three-dimensional model of the inflow and outflow of the coolant of the drill under internally cooled state was established,and heat flow coupling simulation was conduc-ted to analyze the flow and temperature changes of the coolant of the drill with different back angle forms,and to identify the differences between the two.This study has provided reference for the design and application of the drill.
