Development and analysis of a biaxial tensile device based on a uniaxial tensile testing machine
In practical engineering, the stress components are usually in complex stress states. In order to study the mechani-cal properties of materials in different directions,a biaxial tensile device based on a uniaxial tensile testing machine is de-signed.The device has multiple bases and multiple slider slot components, which can meet the requirements of uniaxial ten-sile test and biaxial tensile test at the same time. The basic structure and motion mechanism of the biaxial tensile device are introduced, and the combined technology of SolidWorks 3D modeling and ANSYS Workbench simulation is used to conduct finite element analysis of the biaxial tensile device by transient dynamics method.According to the simulation results, the bi-axial tensile device is optimized based on the response surface method(RSM)to improve its safety and reliability, and the optimal scheme is obtained.
