Can Technique Empower Students' Digital Literacy?——A Large-Scale Survey of Digital Learning Status in Primary and Secondary Schools
With the deepening of the national education digitalization strategy, digital technology and education and teaching are moving towards integrated development, and digital learning has become an important pivot for students'growth, and further reconstructs the abilities and accomplishment of future talents.Under this context, whether digital technologies represented by big data and artificial intelligence can empower students'digital literacy has attracted much attention. Therefore, based on survey data of primary and secondary schools in 12 provinces across the country, this paper established a multiple regression model with schools'new infrastructure construction situation, teachers'digital teaching implementation frequency, and students'proficiency in using smart terminals as the core explanatory variables, and analyzed its impact on students'digital literacy.Research found that schools'new infrastructure construction situation had no significant impact on students'digital literacy;the higher frequency of teachers implemented digital teaching, the higher students'digital literacy;the more proficient students were in using smart terminals, the higher their digital literacy.Accordingly, this paper proposed to establish a new infrastructure construction principle centered on learners and guided by normal applications, and release the new infrastructure construction to improve the huge potential of students'digital literacy;assist teachers in achieving the integration and innovation of digital technology and education and teaching to fully leverage the advantages of digital technology functionality and teacher flexibility;guide students to proficiently use various intelligent terminals,so that each student can engage in personalized learning in a cognitive way that suits themselves. The research of this paper focused on discovering the factors that affected students'digital literacy and their effects,so as to provide reference for the effective improvement of students'digital literacy in the digital era.
