Discussion of High-Power Motor Capacity Match with Transformer
By analyzing two accidents of high-voltage switchgear trip off in Suzhou plant and short-term overload of transformers in Chuzhou plant during the startup of high-power motor equipment,it is analyzed that the fundamental reason for the accident is the mismatch between the transformer capacity and selection of large motors.Provide the preventive technical measures,reasonable selection of transformer capacity and match it with the power of high-power motor equipment,Raise the high voltage supply level of the motor and reduce the upper limit value of the soft starter startup setting value to avoid the accident recurred.
