Determination of 64 Semivolatile Organic Compounds in Surface Water by Transportable GC-MS
A method for determination of 64 semivolatile organic compounds(SVOCs) in surface water by transportable GC-MS was established.Liquid-liquid extraction was used to extract SVOCs from water.Simultaneous SCAN and SIM data were obtained, and SCAN data were used for qualitation, while SIM data were used for quantification. For 250 mL sampled water, method detection limit for 64 SVOCs was 0.002~0.048 μg/L.The RSDs of method were 2.1%~8.8%.Water sample from river of Shanghai and tap water were analyzed, kinds of 16 SVOCs were detected. The content of phthalates was higher than other compounds. This method is simple, sensitive and accurate, and it can be easily implemented for on site monitoring 64 SVOCs in surface water.
