A study on the effect of recumbent gymnastic training combined with nutritional intervention on maintenance haemodialysis patients
Objective:To investigate the effects of recumbent gymnastic training combined with nutritional intervention on patients on maintenance haemodialysis(MHD).Methods:Ninety-five patients with MHD were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group to compare the changes in each index before and after the intervention in the two groups. Results After 3 months of intervention, patients in the observation group had lower body mass,24-h ultrafiltration volume, total body fluid volume(TBW)and extracellular fluid volume(ECW)(P<0.05);higher albumin, haemoglobin and serum transferrin(P<0.05);higher handgrip strength(P<0.05);higher CD3+,CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ levels were all higher in the observation group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Supine gymnastics training combined with individualized nutritional intervention is beneficial to improving the volume load and nutritional status and enhancing the immune function of patients with MHD.
