Efficacy of red light therapy device combined with alginate dressing on postoperative wound healing of lower limb fractures
Objective:To investigate the effect of red light therapy device combined with alginate dressing on postoperative wound healing of lower limb fractures. Methods:Eighty patients with lower limb fractures were selected and divided into observation and control groups to compare the differences in FN and EGF levels between the two groups before and after treatment. Results:The bone scab density scores at 14d,21d and 28d postoperatively were lower in the observation group than in the control group(p<0.05).The pain scores at 2d,4d and 6d postoperatively were lower in the observation group than in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the serum FN and EGF levels in both groups were higher than before treatment, and the serum FN and EGF levels in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions:Red light therapy combined with alginate dressing is safe and effective for post-operative wound healing of lower limb fractures, promoting scab growth, reducing pain and improving serum FN and EGF levels.
