Bone densitometry was used to evaluate the relationship between bone mineral density and parameters in the elderly
Objective:To investigate the relationship between bone mineral density(BMD)and related parameters in elderly population.Methods:100 elderly patients with hip fracture admitted from March 2019 to March 2021 were selected as the fracture group, and 100 elderly physical examination subjects were selected as the control group. To explore the relationship between bone mineral density(BMD)and related parameters in elderly population. Results:Bone mineral density(BMD),FNCT and FNCT/FNW in the neck, intertrochanteric, lumbar,Chinese and lumbar vertebrae in the fracture group were lower than those in the control group, and FMCW values were higher than those in the control group.Lumbar BMD in osteoporosis group was positively correlated with 25-(OH)D3,and negatively correlated with Total P1NP,β-CTX,N-MID and other bone metabolic markers. Conclusion:Monitoring the level of bone metabolism is helpful to assist the early diagnosis of osteoporosis.
