The application effect of high intensity interval training in the long-voyage naval crew
Objective:To investigate the effect of high intensity interval training(HIIT)on cardiopulmonary function, adipocyte cytokines and skeletal muscle content in the long-voyage naval crew.Methods:118 cases of the long-voyage naval crew were randomly divided into an observation group(61 cases)and a control group(57 cases). The observation group received HIIT,and the control group received moderate intensity continuous training. Results:After 4 weeks of training, the cardiopulmonary function indicators such as 6-minute walk distance(6MWD),left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)in the observation group were better than those in the control group(P<0.05);The levels of leptin, chemokines and resistin in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05),the levels of adiponectin was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05);The content of skeletal muscle in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:HIIT can help enhance the cardiorespiratory function, regulate adipocyte cytokine levels, increase skeletal muscle content, and thus enhance the ability of the long-voyage naval crew.
