The effect of mirror therapy combined with motor imagery therapy on hemiplegic patients with cerebral infarction
Objective:To investigate the effect of mirror therapy combined with motor imagery therapy on hemiplegic patients with cerebral infarction.Methods:80 cases of hemiplegic patients with cerebral infarction admitted to our hospital from January 2022 to September 2023 were selected. They were randomly divided into conventional group and combined group,40 cases each, the control group used conventional intervention, and the combined group used mirror therapy combined with motor imagery therapy on the basis of the control group.all the indexes were detected before the treatment,1 week after the intervention, and 1 month after the intervention, and the 2 groups were observed for the FM-uL scores,ARAT,BBS scores,P300 latency and P300 wave amplitude,BI,and SF-36.Results:After 1 week and 1 month of intervention, the FM-uL scores of the 2 groups were observed.months later, the FM-uL,ARAT,BBS scores,BI,and SF-36 scores of the combined group were higher than those of the conventional group(P<0.05);the P300 latency of the combined group was lower than that of the conventional group, and the P300 amplitude of the wave was higher than that of the conventional group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Mirror therapy combined with motor imagery therapy can effectively promote the functional recovery of the affected limbs, improve balance, and improve the ability of daily life and quality of life in hemiplegic patients with cerebral infarction.
