Relationship between APOE gene and coronary heart disease blood lipids and coronary artery disease severity in Anhui Province
Objective:To investigate the relationship between APOE gene and blood lipid levels in patients with coronary heart disease and the severity of coronary artery lesions in Anhui region.Methods:100 patients with coronary heart disease and hyperlipidemia were selected as the observation group, and 50 healthy adults were selected as the control group.APOE genotype was tested in both groups, and the distribution of blood lipid levels in different genotypes was compared. Results:The levels of TC,TG,and LDL-C were increased, while the level of HDL-C was decreased in patients with coronary heart disease.Among patients with hyperlipidemia,APOE ε3 genotype accounted for the highest proportion, while APOE ε2 genotype accounted for the lowest proportion. The levels of TC and LDL-C were higher in patients with ε4 genotype than in those with ε2 and ε3 genotypes, while the level of TG was higher in patients with ε2 genotype than in those with ε3 and ε4 genotypes. There were differences in APOE genotypes among patients with different degrees of coronary artery lesions. Conclusion:In Anhui region, there are differences in blood lipid levels among different APOE alleles, and different genotypes are associated with the severity of coronary artery lesions.
