Establishment of a nomogram model for predicting the risk of subcutaneous adipose hyperplasia associated with insulin injection
Objective:To explore the influencing factors of subcutaneous fat hyperplasia associated with insulin injection, and to construct a column chart model for the occurrence of subcutaneous fat hyperplasia associated with insulin injection.Methods:198 patients with diabetes hospitalized in our hospital from January 2020.01 to March 2023.03 were taken as the research objects, and the basic information, physical and laboratory examination data of patients were recorded. Results:A total of 198 patients were surveyed, and the prevalence of LH was 54.55% .Multivariate logistic stepwise regression analysis showed that skin pinching, wrong injection in turn, more repeated use of needles, more insulin injections, and long needle length were the risk factors for insulin LH injection in diabetes patients(P<0.05).ROC curve analysis showed that AUC,sensitivity, and specificity were 0.891(95% CI:0.846~0.936),96.30%,and 68.90%,respectively.Conclusion:Pinching skin, wrong injection in turn, more repeated use of needles, more insulin injections, and long needle length are the risk factors for insulin injection LH in diabetes. The nomogram model based on the above factors has a good predictive effect on LH.
