Evaluation of the Role of Ultrasound-Guided Biopsy in Prostate Cancer Management
Objective:To evaluate the key factors affecting survival and quality of life after endocrine treatment in patients with prostate cancer(PCa).Method:A retrospective analysis of clinical and pathological data from 56 PCa patients treated between April 2021 and November 2023 was conducted, using univariate and multivariate Cox regression analyses to identify factors affecting 3-year survival rates and assess quality of life.Results:Age(HR=1.369),tumor differentiation(HR=3.288),metastasis(HR=16.258),and Gleason score(HR=2.479)were the main factors influencing survival.Patients showed significant declines in mental health and emotional function. Conclusion:Age,tumor differentiation, metastasis, and Gleason score are crucial for the long-term survival of PCa patients, highlighting the importance of comprehensive medical management in improving prognosis and quality of life.
