Application of real-time dynamic blood glucose monitoring system in blood glucose fluctuation of pregnant women with diabetes
Objective:To investigate the value of real-time continuous glucose monitoring system(CGMS)in monitoring blood glucose fluctuation in gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM).Methods:97 patients with gestational diabetes admitted from September 2022 to December 2023 were prospectively selected and divided into the observation group(n=49,monitored by CGMS)and the control group(n=48,monitored by conventional blood glucose meter),all of whom received insulin treatment.Compare fasting blood glucose,2-hour postprandial blood glucose, symptom control, hypoglycemia status, and satisfaction. Results:After treatment, the fasting and 2-hour postprandial blood glucose levels in the observation group were lower(P<0.05),and blood glucose control, symptom relief, and hospital stay were shorter. In addition, the observation group had a lower incidence of hypoglycemia(P<0.05),shorter duration, and higher treatment satisfaction(P<0.05).Conclusions:The CGMS system accurately monitors pregnant women's blood sugar, improves treatment effectiveness and satisfaction, and prevents adverse events.
