Application of different humidification methods in non-mechanical ventilation and tracheostomy for craniocerebral injury
Objective:To compare the application effects of different humidification methodsin non-mechanical ventilation and tracheostomy for craniocerebral injury. Methods:Eighty patients with craniocerebral injury who underwent non-mechanical ventilation and tracheostomy in the hospital from January 2021 to October 2023 were selected as the study subjects.Among them, those admitted in December 2021 were included in group A(43 cases)and the other were included in group B(37 cases).Group A received Venturi oxygen therapy warm humidification while group B received humidification via micro pump continuous infusion.Vital signs, effects of oxygen therapy, frequency of sputum suction, humidification effect and the incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results:After treatment, vital signs, effects of oxygen therapy, frequency of sputum suction, humidification effect and the incidence of complications in group A were significantly better than those in group B(P<0.05).Conclusion:Venturi oxygen therapy warm humidification can achieve better humidification effect and therapeutic effect.
